SCOPE
The owners created an extensive workbook of how they envisioned their updated and expanded home that included photos with written explanations. This was very helpful in assuring the finished work reflected their workbook. The interior of the house was virtually demolished and rearranged with the kitchen being converted to a pantry, utility room becoming a mudroom and side entry, the playroom wall being removed and added to the new family room addition and relocation of the laundry. A new addition along the entire rear side of the house was added for a new vaulted family room, master bath and vaulted master bedroom. Authentic wood beams were installed in the kitchen ceiling, painted beams were added to the master bedroom and family room, wainscoting was added to the dining room and stairs, all bathrooms were remodeled, all wood floors were refinished with a new herringbone teak floor installed in the master bathroom. New custom cabinets were installed in the kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, and family room, to include a bookcase and ladder.
