DESIGN/BUILD:

• We have worked with a number of architectural and home design professionals, but can provide Design/Build services if that is easier for you.

NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION:

• This can include demolition of an existing home or new construction on a vacant lot. We can build in any neighborhood and also have experience working in historical designated neighborhoods requiring architectural review.

EXTERIOR ADDITIONS TO YOUR EXISTING HOME:

• Additions to the first floor that involve an extension of the house on the first level and/or multiple floors tied into the existing house

• Second Story add-ons to the first floor that involve removal of the partial or full first-floor attic and roof with new construction of the second floor

• The main issue with exterior construction for additions is to match the new addition with an existing exterior in order to hide the “new addition” look and in historical neighborhoods to meet historical architectural guidelines. DGC has made this seamless transition on many homes and can do it with your home.

INTERIOR REMODELING:

• Remove walls to open rooms that may require installation of steel beams, replace existing windows-whole windows or just the sashes, add fireplaces, relocate stairs, upgrade to vaulted ceiling and/or trey ceilings, ceiling beams (faux and authentic), shiplap walls and ceilings and other specialty items. We can take a picture you find in a magazine and turn it into reality, just ask our clients.

• If you decide to stay in the home, we take care to minimize any disruption to your normal routine. We protect any floors that are not to be replaced and install plastic walls to control dust from other rooms.

• We know security is a concern and work with you during the construction process and do our best to assure you and your pets are secure at all times.

• Periodically clean the work areas to maintain a safe area and a clean environment when you and your family come into the work area.
